Hello Roboflow Team,Thank you for the amazing platform
Iāve been facing an issue for the past couple of days while trying to upload a dataset of 3,000+ images with YOLO-format annotations.
Hereās what Iāve tried so far:
CLI upload: This is quite slow for large datasets and frequently fails due to internet connectivity issues. Additionally, I havenāt found a reliable way to upload images and annotations together using the CLI.
Web UI upload: When uploading via the interface, the process stalls indefinitely at āProcessing filesā¦ā and never completes.
I have been able to upload around 2.5k+ images in chunks of about 500 but that doesnāt seem to be working again.
Iād be happy to take a look into this issue for you. To help me triage further, can I get your permission to access your workspace? If you are willing to share the dataset via google drive link that would be incredible as well!
Hello @Patrick_Nihranz , thank you but I was able to work around the issue by painstakingly uploading the images using the Python API. That said, I wanted to suggest a potential improvement: providing an option to upload datasets in a .zip format. importing or downloading from google drive or cloud bucket will also be nice.
@Oluwaseun_Ilori thank you so much for your feedback. Having the ability to upload datasets from Google Drive would be highly valuable, and I have logged in this feature request with our engineering team. Iām glad you were able to get everything up and running, if you would like me to investigate further Iām more than happy to. Happy Roboflowing!
