I am writing to report a persistent technical issue with the ‘Find Objects with AI’ feature in my workspace.

For the last 3 days, the tool has been failing constantly, showing a ‘Failed to Find Objects’ error message. The issue is intermittent; it occasionally works for only a few hours and then stops functioning entirely for the rest of the day.

I am currently on a Premium Trial and this is a critical project for my university. I would appreciate it if you could:

  1. Investigate why the Auto-labeling feature is failing intermittently.

I can see you’re experiencing frustrating intermittent failures with the SAM-powered auto-labeling feature.

This is definitely not the experience we want you to have, especially on a critical university project!

Could you check the network logs (open up inspect on the browser > network logs) and check the calls being made when issue is created? whats the error you are seeing there?

You might want to try these approaches to keep your project moving:

  • For critical images that need immediate labeling, you can manually annotate them and return to auto-labeling when the service stabilizes
  • Consider uploading smaller batches of images rather than large sets, which can sometimes help with processing reliability
