I am trying to deploy a Sahi workflow for use on my laptop. I have worked with the web-interface provided AI for a while and it is informing me that I have done everything correctly and that the consistent errors I am receiving are a “Roboflow backend issue”.
This is a consistent error: 502 Internal Error from API on every attempt, image and model confirmed working in web UI… The workflow and image work perfectly in the Roboflow user interface. Using the recommended serverless endpoint, field name ‘file’, and a valid API key, every request returns 502.”
Live support is not supported on my plan, so I am hoping that I can get some help on this forum or a DM from a member of support staff.
I am deploying with images only. I have tried to deploy through 2 different paths: “integrating with my app/website” and “run on my device or computer”. I have worked with the Workflow AI for both options and keep re-writing my Python code to try and fix the various problems that pop up, but each time, the AI eventually concludes that I’m “doing everything correctly and that this is a Roboflow backend issue.”
My images are successfully annotated in the “test workflow” section of the web interface, so I know that that is not the problem. My laptop also seems to be connecting to Roboflow successfully… it’s just after that I get errors that not even your AI seems to understand and it just asks me to seek help from Roboflow support. I should state that I have limited experience with Python, although the AI says my code is correct…
I am not sure how you could help me, short of me posting my Python code here for review, although that seems extremely time-consuming and I feel would have similar effects as the AI advice (although a person may have better understanding/advice than AI). I think that having live support would greatly help to solve this problem because someone could work with me to solve the problem… although unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to be possible.
I feel that it would be helpful for Roboflow to release some basic video tutorials, just going through deploying workflows through various methods. This way, people struggling could follow step-by-step. I found the written tutorials (usually only 2-3 steps) on the deploy workpage to be non-descriptive and not helpful, and while the AI attempts to help, it simply claims “I know the exact problem and how to fix it!” at each error I send it on an endless cycle (yes, I know it’s still in Beta). The tutorials could also go through some common errors that might arise and how to troubleshoot them.
I do not know how else to resolve this issue. The AI eventually concluded that it does not know why my deployment is not working (and that it is a Roboflow-backed issue), and because I also do not know, I cannot write out my problem in detail here for anyone to help.
