Hi,
I’m trying to train a SAM3 model using a COCO format pcb component detection dataset. I upload the images/annotations, and create the dataset in Roboflow fine, but SAM3 doesn’t show as a Model Architecture when trying to create a model (see screenshot). Any help appreciated. I noticed that the model is listed as beta in the guide - do I need to request access, have a paid account, have a certain number of credits etc? This is my first attempt using Roboflow.
SAM3 is currently available exclusively for users on paid plans. I checked your account and you’re on the Public (free) plan, which doesn’t include access to
SAM3 as a model architecture option.
To access SAM3, you’ll need to upgrade to one of our paid tiers (Starter, Pro, or Enterprise). Once upgraded, SAM3 should appear as an available model
architecture when creating a new model.
If you have any questions about plan options or need help with the upgrade process, feel free to reach out!
Perfect - just wanted to check before upgrading! Maybe worth putting this on the ui somewhere as it’s clearly confused two of us. Would have immediately hit upgrade had it been an option I could click but pay walled.
