Temporary Image Rotation while Annotating

Good Morning,

When I’m annotating classes for instance segmentation, I often find myself rotating my monitor or exporting the photo to adjust its angle. This is because the object’s perspective isn’t clear from a single view, and I need to rotate the image to see the intricate details better.

It would be really helpful to have a built-in image rotation feature in the Roboflow Annotation UI. Being able to rotate images temporarily while annotating would streamline my workflow and make the labeling process MUCH easier.

Thanks for considering this!!

Hi, there! Would you care to share more details about what use case you are trying to do?

I’m asking this because maybe you could annotate your images as they are (if you can), and only rotate them in the augmentation step when creating a version of your dataset.

Would that make sense, or you definitely need to first edit your images to even see the shape you’re looking for?
