Hi everyone,
Encountered an issue where annotated images would not appear in the dataset for training/export. There was a persisting banner, “Your images are being added to the dataset”, but only a fraction appeared.
Was able to force the remaining images to appear by going to the “Train” option in the left taskbar, pretending to train a model, continuing to the train/validate/test split option, and reassigning all the data from Train to Test. At this point, all the images appeared in the dataset.
Hope this helps! Noticed this appears to be a common issue at the moment.
Hi JeffHDing,
Thanks for sharing this workaround! This is definitely a known issue that several users have run into. The “Your images are being added to the dataset” banner appears when the system is still processing uploaded images in the background, but sometimes this processing gets stuck or takes much longer than expected.
Your solution of going through the Train tab and reassigning the data split is actually a clever way to force the system to refresh and recognize all the images that should be in your dataset. When you modify the train/validation/test split, it triggers the system to re-index the available images, which can unstick the processing queue.
Note that we are working on a fix for this as well .
Thank you,
Bar Shimshon
