Recurrent “Smart Select Service Unavailable” error when annotating with Smart Polygons

I am experiencing recurrent issues when annotating using the Smart Polygons (Smart Select / SAM) option.

In some cases, the tool works perfectly. However, very frequently, after selecting an object, a warning appears saying “Smart Select Service Unavailable”. This warning can pop up 3 to 5 times in a row, and during that time the tool becomes extremely slow or unusable.

As a result, the annotation workflow is significantly slowed down and becomes quite frustrating when working with many images.

I would like to know whether this behavior is related to a temporary issue with the SAM service, or if there is something in my configuration or usage that might be causing it. I have ruled out internet connectivity issues, as my connection is stable and fast.
