UC T

The Polygon Tool does a superb job of enclosing the letter “T”, but how to separate it from the background noise? Historic fonts like this are entangled with overlapped letters unlike any modern fonts, so bounding boxes are not very useful.

Hi @Francis_Bacon

If I’m understanding properly, you want to extract a transparent image of just the annotated polygon, right?

If so I think the Isolate Objects preprocessing step might be useful. It will export your images as a classification dataset, but all the annotations will be isolated as a single picture inside a folder of the respective class.
