Trained on Palm and Palm Lines, but Only Palm is Detected

Hi, I trained a model to detect a palm and three major palm lines (life line, head line, and heart line).
So far, I’ve only labeled and trained on 6 palm images.

However, in the result, only the palm is being detected — the palm lines are not detected at all.

Could this be simply because the dataset is too small (only 6 images)?
Are there any other possible reasons besides the dataset size?

Also, annotating all the palm lines with polygons is very time-consuming.
Is there a better or more efficient way to label these lines?

This sounds like an awesome project!! I would start with at least 50 images, and then evaluate model performance from there.

Good question, depending on your level of detail needed, I would evaluate smart polygons and label assist.
