Roboflow Model Timeout

Repro:

  1. Navigate to a Roboflow Universe model that allows you to do object detection. Here is an example:
    Model & API

  2. The result might be cached so choose a new sample from the test set.

  3. Wait.

  4. See this screen

  5. Browser console log shows the url called and ‘502 (Bad Gateway)’

Expected:
Can actually use this and other object/instance detection APIs successfully.

Note: This is happening to me on other object detection models and not just this specific end point. It happens when I use the web interface but also when I use the direct javascript API call.

This has been happening for 12 hrs now.

Browser for testing:

  • Project Type: Object Detection
  • Operating System & Browser: Edge & Windows 11
  • Project Universe Link or Workspace/Project ID: Model & API

Had friends ( who have never used RF before ) test this out too on new accounts and they ran into the same problem. Seems like an RF infra issue.

Thanks for reporting this and providing detailed steps to reproduce.

We’ve made a few improvements to this flow over the past couple of days, and we just re-tested it using your example but weren’t able to reproduce the issue. It’s likely that the problem has already been resolved.
