Increase in the vertical dimensions of the bounding boxes

Hello Roboflow users and Support Team,

I performed object detection on insect images using bounding boxes 6 days ago. I repeated the annotation process with 500 new images yesterday. While the annotations from 6 days ago remain accurate, I’ve noticed a significant increase in the vertical dimensions of the bounding boxes from yesterday’s session. Two examples(cannot attach them?)

Despite restarting Roboflow, the bounding boxes continue to be vertically stretched.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Any tips how to fix it in Roboflow without annotating all 500 images again? (will return for now on my local application.)

Hey, Marci.

Can you enable access to the support user of Roboflow on your workspace so we can investigate the issue?

Here are some docs on that: Share a Workspace with Support | Roboflow Docs

Hi,
Thanks for your reply, I just enabled access.

Additional information: I imported annotions made with grounding DINO to correct them. When sorted on newest in the ‘annotation’ section, I corrected this image yesterday 55678852.jpg (is first image when sort by newest) and now it has the box with a margin above and under the hornet.

Thanks a lot! I will look into it and get back to you.

Hey - I looked into your project and couldn’t find the issue with the bounding boxes, they all seemed normal - can you follow up with that issue via in-app chat?

Thank you for taking a look at the problem. I just logged in and the bounding boxes switched back to their original place! I’m relieved that the changes I made are still present. I should have been more patient and waited for the issues to be resolved.
