# Unable to annotate new user free account

Hello, I have opened a new account on the free version. I am unable to find the annotation toolbar. it only shows the option to pan. is there some restriction on the free project plan?

I have attached a screenshot. if you look to the right there toolbar only shows the option to pan or comment.

Hi @Rxtr, can you please confirm project type? From screenshot I’d guess your project type is either `classification` or `multimodal classification`, in which case you only specify list of classes found on the image. If you wish to detect objects you will need to create new project and select `object detection` as project type.
