# Research Plan option not found while being on Core Plan

I am unable to find the option to upgrade to research plan. My current plan shows Core Plan and not Basic/Public. What do I do?

Hello,

Research Plans are usually handled through an application process: [How to Apply for Research Credits](https://research.roboflow.com/credits#how-to-apply). The option to apply only shows up once a workspace is on the Public Plan, which is why you can’t see it from Core.

I can skip that and switch your workspace over for you. Just keep in mind that data on the Research Plan is public. Reply here to confirm you’re good with that and let me know which workspace you’d like updated. I’ll take care of it from there.
