Hello, I am having the same issue as this user from 10 months ago [Bugged images in dataset](https://discuss.roboflow.com/t/bugged-images-in-dataset/5901)

I am forking publicly available datasets and deleting unneeded images and classes, but I am also having this issue across multiple datasets including one that I created and uploaded images to. When I remove images, whether it be through selection or clicking the image and clicking remove, it seems to go through, however, the image reappears as if I refresh the page in the dataset. For simplicity, I’m just going to call those “zombie images”.

When I click on a zombie image from the dataset, nothing happens. If I open up an image actually in the dataset and click on the arrows to previous/next image, it eventually leads to a zombie image and freezes. If I select from the dataset and include a zombie image in the selection, then click action remove, it says an error occurred. This makes it difficult to vet through public datasets.

Here is a screen recording demonstrating the bug: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-B5h0kle9c](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-B5h0kle9c)

Thank you for your error report. We’ll look into the issue and get back to you when we make progress.

@adrtse we’re still investigating the issue but still haven’t found a way to reliably reproduce it.
(I tried forking the [same project](https://universe.roboflow.com/yolo-experiment-sara-rahimi/aerial-images-vugjs/) and deleting some images, but “unfortunately it all works on my machine”)

We’ll keep digging, but if you find a way to reliably reproduce the bug, please let me know! 🙂
