Question about Offline Inference Server Device (Growth Plan)

Hi Roboflow Support Team,

I have a question regarding the offline inference server device license (Growth plan).

I recently purchased a plan that includes one offline inference device, but I accidentally activated it on the wrong device due to misunderstanding (I thought it was one active device at a time, not permanently bound). Now I can only run it on a development device instead of my intended deployment device.

So, Is there any way to:

  • reset the activation, or
  • reassign the offline inference license to another device?

Additional note:

It would be great if this behavior (device binding vs. temporary activation) could be clarified more clearly in the documentation, to help avoid similar confusion.

Looking into this, but Growth plan has been discontinued some time ago, are you sure you purchased that plan recently? How did you setup offline mode, directly via self-hosting Inference Server (in offline mode), or did you have to pair via QR code (deployment manager)?

We recently purchased the Growth Plan in April, and it has been effective since May 2026. Below are the details we previously discussed:

Regarding the offline mode, I believe we set it up directly via self-hosting Inference Server. The steps we followed are:

Workflows β†’ Deploy β†’ Video β†’ Local Server β†’ Run code on my device β†’ Disconnect WiFi (offline mode).
