# Images not available through UI, but API claims image exists

I recently used the API to upload images/labels I annotated locally. After uploading, I sent them back to unassigned where they seemingly disappeared… Great, I’ll upload them again. However, when I went to upload them again I received “roboflow.adapters.rfapi.AnnotationSaveError: Image was already annotated.”. They still exist, but I am unable to access them. See the below screenshot, also the true count of images is incorrect.
