# Does Roboflow own my uploaded images or video data?‌

Once I upload my data to Roboflow, do I or do I not retain the ownership rights?

**No.** Your data remains yours even after upload! This is included in our [terms](https://roboflow.com/terms) where it says:

> You retain all ownership rights in any content, information, or materials
