# "changes not saved: error" Appears after Annotating Bounding boxes and Annotations Do Not Save

We are building a public object detection project of 10,000 images. We have already annotated 4,642 images and 4,779 assigned for annotation. We have yet to upload 579 images for annotation to reach our target of 10,000.

I use Roboflow on a Mac with Google Chrome. My collaborators use Windows with Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome.

We are encountering “changes not saved: error” whenever we annotate an image that prevents the annotation from persisting. Kindly find below the link to the screenshot of the error.
